People think Islam and Hinduism can never be together. People even have killed many innocent people to prove each others’ religion true. People claim God only belongs to them and He would kill other people just because they did not believe in God as you did.
There are almost 5,000 Gods being worshiped by humans, but don’t worry, only yours is right.
Recently I came across a question on Quora beautifully answered with a live incident about Islam and Hinduism. Please read the below question and answer.
Q ) Can Muslims and Hindus ever live peacefully without having hatred for each other in their hearts?
Islam and Hinduism are completely two different religions. No connection with each other at all. Islam is Abrahamic religion which is considered to be completion of Judaism and Christianity. In Islam those who worship idols and those who are polytheists are called ‘Mushriks’. It’s the most hated group because there are several verses in Quran where Mushriks are condemned heavily by Allah (God).
I don’t know if Hindus are considered Mushriks in true sense since they have a supreme God Brahman who is worshiped through his millions of incarnations / manifestations but still it’s a form of polytheism. Isn’t it nearly impossible to live peacefully with each other? Each group is bound to have some hatred for other group even if they don’t show it in public.
Ans) Here’s a short story. When I joined my college, I was allotted a Muslim roommate. This guy Md Rizwan.

When I met the guy the very first thought that came was, “Muslim roommate? We both are never going to click together. I’ve heard that Muslims are this-and-that. This is so not happening.”, only to realize later that I WAS WRONG!.
At the beginning when we talked or more appropriately gossip, I tried avoiding the ‘RELIGION’ topic. I though it might not be the cool thing to do. I was wrong again.
I remember, the holy month of Ramadan was going on. He would read Namaz or Holy Qur’an. My curiosity about the Islam religion grew. I asked him one day about Islam and its teachings. One thing I realized that most Non-Muslims have wrong notion of the Islam religion. Not unlike any other religion, Islam preaches humanity and simplicity and so does Hinduism.
He would occasionally recite/read Qur’an for me. Tell me stuffs about his religion. I would tell him about mine. And it became a very good conversation starter.
Needless to say, this guy is my best friend. And has always been there for me. Always helped me in times of need.

Here we are enjoying a cup of coffee and “LIVING PEACEFULLY WITHOUT ANY HATRED FOR EACH OTHER”.
Islam and Hinduism are both very beautiful Religions

The fundamental problem in all of us is we are never ready to listen. The day we start listening to others is the day we will hate nobody on this earth.
